Worry Group Meetings

Please join Francesca Leo (@playingwithoutpain) and Baltazar Díaz Dávila (@baltazarflute) in a series of “Worry Groups”, a safe space for musicians of all backgrounds to gather and discuss their worries, fears, doubts and thoughts with one another. These discussion groups will be hosted over Zoom and will occur every other month.

These discussion groups will always be free and open to the public, but donations will be accepted. 100% of donations will go towards a different organization each session.

The next worry group meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 19th at 7:00 p.m. Eastern time. All donations for this group meeting will go towards the Environmental Defense Fund.

About the Environmental Defense Fund:

Building a better future together

For more than 50 years we’ve been pioneers, using science and different perspectives to make the environment safer and healthier for us all.

Who we are

We began in 1967, as a scrappy group of scientists and a lawyer on Long Island, New York, fighting to save osprey from the toxic pesticide DDT. Using scientific evidence, our founders got DDT banned nationwide.

Today, we’re one of the world's leading environmental organizations. In the U.S., Fortune magazine called our board one of the country's most influential nonprofit boards.

And science still guides everything we do.

If you would like to propose a topic or workshop for an upcoming Worry Group Meeting, send an email with “Worry Group Proposal” in the subject line to francescaleoflute@gmail.com. We hope to see you there!
